The Term what goes around comes around....

We hear it all the time and tonight those words rang true more than what i ever imagined! i have a dimple (yes only one) on the right side of my face, the dimple appeared when i was about 3 years old from planting my face into the side of my Grandmother's toilet, Well there's a lot more to the story than that. you see my grandma at the time lived in a older home one that still required skeleton keys to lock and unlock the rooms of the house. We were at my grandma's house a lot, along with my older my cousins. Well one day one of my older cousins decided it would be fun to herd all of us into my grandma's bathroom (there were 4 of us if my mind serves me right maybe 5) and proceeded to lock the bathroom door, Wouldn't have been too bad if he hadn't taken the skeleton key with him and decided that it should be flushed down the toilet. Yes we were locked in the bathroom for what seemed like hours, when finally my mom, my grandma and Aunt were able to get a skeleton key from the neighbor's and use it to free us from the bathroom!!

A moment a thought would never replay again in my lifetime. You know the term what goes around comes around? That's just what happened tonight. i went downstairs to change out laundry and my 3 children were upstairs my oldest getting ready for a bath, when i got back upstairs my oldest was in the living room and could hear my younger two in the bathroom i went to open up the door, and get them ready for their bath and guess what.....i couldn't open the door. it was locked!!! AND of course i live in an older home that requires a skeleton key to open, so then i realize that they have changed the doorknob on my door so my skeleton keys don't work. So i had to remove the hinges off my door and shimmy my door open from the opposite side with it being locked!!! Don't know why i would have thought they'd be scared to death!! i walked in to rescue my children.......as my son looks up at me with bewilderment he had enjoyed his time making toilet paper pies with a touch of conditioner!!! What a night! So now the lock has been removed from my bathroom door and we have restored peace in my house.
